Neil’s sales and compliance background, together with his managerial experience, enabled him to become a Regional Compliance Manager for a leading Building Society. He transferred his experience to his own compliance training business in 2002. With 18 years’ experience and success as an external training and regulatory professional, Neil is a self-starter, self-learning professional. Neil joined Padda in 2019 and brings this external compliance and business assurance achievements with him.
During his time as a consultant Neil has worked with many insurance and pension firms, including IFA'S and the Big Four Consultancies. Neil's 2nd and 1st line assurance background, covers testing customer outcomes, regulatory monitoring via deep dives and risk-based assessment, in addition to pension, investment and consumer credit remediation reviews.
Neil's strong understanding of the types of challenges and risks that arise across these areas of FS, together with the need for risk assessment and assurance monitoring have helped firms when conducting Vulnerable customer, Remediation, control framework reviews.
